My patients and athletes have found the Lynx Grip to be a great adjunct. Often with shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries they have difficulty closing down comfortably on a bar or pulley
system. The grip allows them to feel they have to expend less energy just gripping the
bar. I feel they are more effective and convenient than gloves.

I have been using Lynx Grips with my celebrity clients and for my own personal workouts. I love them and my clients love them. Not having to worry about my hands getting calloused is great. But as a personal trainer the grips are a wonderful tool because I know my clients get a better "grip" on the weights and they won't slip out of their hands..

Wow! We have gone from not knowing what the Lynx Performance Grips were to not being able to lift without them. They have become an essential piece in our Strength Program. Our players prefer them over gloves, believe that they make the handling of bars and equipment easier and safer and love the protection that the grips provide for their hands. After using the Lynx Performance Grips with our team, our Strength Coach ordered more for entire training facility . . . they are that good.

I never imagined the popularity the Lynx Grips would have with our athletes. Not only do the athletes love them, they provide a simple and efficient way to increase bar diameter for thick bar training and have replaced the need for gloves completely. They spare the wear and tear on our athlete’s hands. They have become very popular almost overnight with our strength coaches and student athletes.

I was in our weight room this morning watching the women’s volleyball team work out. They do a timed hang test from a chin-up bar and they all used their Lynx Performance Grips (they call them “Pringles”) with the exercise. It is amazing what a difference they make; all the girls said they have improved their hang time by over 10 seconds using your Grips.

I'm a powerlifter, so lifting big weights and having beat-up hands is part of the game. But I also understand that not everyone feels the need to walk around with cut-up, calloused hands every day. Lynx Grips do an excellent job of keeping your hands healthy while still allowing you to train at 110%.
The bottom line is this: Lynx Grips are an ideal tool for the serious weight trainer who doesn't want the hands of a serious weight trainer.

Lynx Performance Grips are a great product. When I use them I feel I have more control of the weights and they provide my hands with excellent protection. I feel safer doing power cleans using them. I like how easy they are to use, and they are easy to clean.

Lynx grips work great for my athletes. They are quick and easy to use, and provide extra gripping strength and protection. I feel they are superior to traditional gloves and now recommend them to all my athletes.

I love Lynx Performance Grips. The added control that my clients get by using them is remarkable, plus their hands get spared the callus formations that can happen when lifting weights. This is definitely a product that will benefit anyone who is serious about their fitness goals.

The Lynx Grips have been an excellent addition to our training facility. Instantly, they've doubled (and even tripled) our exercise pool by enabling us to implement thick handle training where it was previously impossible. Additionally, the grips have proven useful in athletes who have wrist and hand injuries, as the thicker handle distributes the forces of the barbells
and dumbbells more uniformly over the entire hand.
To say that I've been impressed with the Lynx Grips' versatility would be an understatement; I highly recommend them.

Lynx Performance Grips are a great addition to my workouts, thanks for sending them to me. I work out with them all of the time. I do not allow anybody to touch them, or let them out of my site.

1. All sports teams and athletes, small to large benefit from the use
of GRIPS.
2. Lifting gloves will soon become obsolete.
3. The GRIPS accomplish the improvement of our athletes' grip, hand
strength, and focus.
4. The simplicity of the GRIPS allows transfer-development of exercise from
movements of push to pull without interference by focusing on the hand
tension produced by the GRIPS.
5. The strength of the muscles, tendons, and ligaments become developed by
the flexion and extension of the body parts being used. The GRIPS amplify
the process by which strength is developed through the increased tension in
the hand. The increased muscle activation of the hand allows for improved
neural drive throughout the body through the process of hyper-irradiation.
6. My belief in using and incorporating the GRIPS is not only to protect
the hands from wear and tear, but to exploit the process of
hyper-irradiation created from increased hand tension. Increased hand
tension will produce an immediate increase in the force of joint flexion and
extension, thereby promoting faster gains in overall strength development.

Lynx Grips are such an improvement over gloves or wrist straps! Gloves are too hot and sweaty and wrist straps to difficult to take on an off and they look dirty after a few uses. Lynx Grips are easy to use, easy to clean, and they work great! So simple, but so effective!

During my twenty plus years of being involved in athletic performance and strength training of men and women, I have seen many products that claimed to enhance training. Most of which have proven to be just a bad investment. However, "Grips" from Lynx Performance Technology are the real deal. Easy to use and easy to clean the grip pads have been an instant hit in the weightroom. They provide the lifters with that extra squeeze needed during pulling exercises and are outstanding for getting those last couple of pull-ups. I highly recommend giving "Grips" a try.

Coordination and balance are the two main keys to becoming a great hammer thrower. Lynx Grips force you to develop a level of coordination unlike any other exercise or product that I have ever used, or done in the past. They help you to develop good basic technique (hammer footwork) while coordinating an opposing movement with the upperbody.

As a physician that trains professional athletes and a conditioning coach at UCLA, Lynx Grips have provided a different stimulus to our athletes. Such equipment forces the athlete to improve their supporting grip strength, a factor in many different sport skills. This endurance aspect of supporting grip strength is very challenging to develop without the use of thicker diameter bars, which these grips make possible with any normal size bar.

The grips were excellent for the protection of my hands. Being a pole vaulter, its very important for me to take care of my hands, which sometimes cuts my workouts short. Using the Grips protects my hands for the next vaulting session. I can go the extra set or repetition to fulfill a better workout with the Grips. At first I thought, how can some rubber help me lift, but I was wrong. Since using Lynx Grips I get at least 2 extra reps out of each set. In my sport we are always looking for something extra. I have never liked wearing gloves but I have always had trouble with my grip because I have small hands. That’s not to mention the wear and tear my hands endure. The grips are simple, but very effective. I found that I had a firm grasp of the weights that I had trouble with before. They are comfortable, lightweight, and compact. I had a player that just sustained a hand injury in a game the night before. The only way that this player was able to do his presses and pulls was with the GRIPS. The GRIPS made gripping more comfortable for this athlete so that we could get through his workout.
The guys that wear gloves now leave them at home because they can easily use the grips for pulls and presses and drop them on a bench to work with medicine balls or another piece of equipment.
I was truly amazed at how popular these things were in our weight room.

About the Performance Grips
These are a phenomenal lifting tool! It has a unique ability to assist in grip. When I tried it, the features I immediately noticed were: (1) more confident grip, (2) pads palm making it more comfortable when a heavy barbell or dumbbell rests on it, (3) prevents rubbing of bar knurling thus preventing callus formation, (4) portability, i.e., since it is not a glove, it’s easier to set aside for exercises in which the Lynx is not needed. It would be most beneficial to women and the beginning lifter whose palms may be more sensitive and lack calluses.

I have been a client of Dillon Barnard's, the founder of Lynx performance grips, for over three years. After personally using them over the last few months I have to say that the proof is there and that the simple design creates superior results. I never imagined what a difference they would make in my workouts. Immediately, I noticed that my control improved dramatically and that Lynx performance grips secured my grip when training, thus maximizing my workout results. I immediately eliminated the "clinching" that I had become used to experiencing over the years; which had put a lot of pressure on my wrist and forearms. Now because of Lynx performance grips, my grip more secure and comfortable. The performance that I am now experiencing is a direct result of the design of Lynx performance grips and is a testimonial in itself that these work. I would strongly recommend Lynx performance grips to anyone who trains with weights or is rehabilitating an injury and requires proper grip and form to reduce the potential for further injury.
I noticed that during my time using Lynx performance grips, the rubber composition never loses its tackiness, and the sweat that would usually inhibit my grip, now has no effect on my workout.

The feedback on the grips is good. The usual suspects…no sweaty hands; you can actually feel the bar as opposed to a few inches of fabric. Myself, I think they are great for a few different reasons.
A) Full dexterity of fingers which allows blood flow, no numbness feeling.
B) Allows a natural grip (loose), therefore my forearms aren’t burned out at the end of my session.
C) They literally can fit into the tightest packed bag…ever!
And D) I have used them for working around the yard i.e. wheel barrel, shovel, rake and the absolute best use yet…walking my 130lb puppy. The leash sticks in place, no longer burning the skin off when he pulls suddenly.
I know your area of expertise is fitness, but I took them in with me to Home Depot and the people who work there (lumber dept.) loved them.

I noticed an immediate improvement in my weight training once I started using the grips. I immediately notice all the tension went away and rather than trying to muscle through the exercise it was easy to target the specific muscle groups. A correct grip on the oar is fundamental to good rowing technique: it is what connects your arms, lats, back, and quads to the oar and drives the boat forward. Yet the grip is often what people struggle with most--the wooden handles get wet and sweaty and people are too tense in their hands, writs, and shoulders. With the Lynx Performance Grips one of the most challenging parts of the stroke became the most simple and mindless, I suddenly had a great connection to the handle while staying relaxed without even having to think about it.

Are these grips the real deal? Well, let me put it this way: If old fashioned, smelly, restrictive gloves stepped into the ring with these babies...It would be no contest. Like Mike Tyson VS. The Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. Listen, here's the deal:
1. They last forever... you couldn't ruin them if you tried.
2. They don't stink like a wet dog after a while like gloves do.
3. They feel great.
Plus, everyone will ask to borrow them for a day. But you won't let them. Because you'll never see them again. Instead, just toss them your stinky gloves and tell them to get their own pair. Just like you should Right now.
Thanks guys, these ROCK!

Working out is especially important to me because I want to live the brand and stay in shape. Traditionally I’ve used gloves when lifting weights, that is until my trainer had me try Lynx Performance Grips. They are AWESOME and proved to be better then I could have ever imagined. I really like how comfortable Lynx are and how simple they are to use. Plus these seem to offer me a better grip that I didn’t have before. Now that I have my own pair I no longer use my gloves and would encourage others to do the same.

The Lynx Performance Grips are the true Personal Trainer’s assistant as far as I’m concerned. I am impressed by how user friendly these are to everyone. These are not just for the gym expert but also for the novice. Usually a weightlifting bar digs into my palms while performing high volume lifts. This sometimes has me focused on my hands rather than the muscles I am targeting. Not so with Lynx Grips. The pads grip into the bar and I spend less energy gripping the bar and more effort goes into actually moving and controlling the weights. I saw strength gains quickly. Not only for me but also with my clients. Another favorite feature of mine is that you can use them whenever you need them and you are not forced to wear them during the entire workout like gloves. I would normally only want gloves for a few certain exercises but I end up wearing them the entire workout because they are a pain to take on and off. I’ll be using Lynx Grips from now on.

I am writing to express my sentiments about the Lynx Performance Grips. I have been working out with weights for years and was discouraged by the fact that weightlifting almost seemed synonymous with calluses. I do not like weight lifting gloves for they slip and are uncomfortable, but wanted something to protect my hands. My trainer at 24 Hour Fitness lent me a pair of his Performance Grips while we were working out. I was so impressed by how they helped my grip and protected my hands, I immediately got a set for myself! Since then, I have been telling everyone I know, weightlifters and non-weightlifters alike, about how amazing this product is!
Yours Truly,
Kate Richardson
Using Lynx performance grips today reminded me how much better my workout is with them than with gloves! As a Baby Boomer business executive, I'm not a fitness fiend -- but I do work out regularly and I want maximum efficiency and effectiveness in what I do. I have fairly small hands, so even when I can find gloves that fit well (and most are either too tight or too loose), I have problems with the diameter of the handles on most fitness equipment. Lynx performance grips handle both those problems beautifully (pardon the pun). They fit my hands perfectly and give me a solid secure grip on every piece of equipment I've used -- machines and free weights. With gloves, my hands often give out before the muscles I'm working reach their max. With Lynx, the focus goes directly to the muscles I'm targeting and I can do more reps and higher weights -- not to mention with smoother movements since they remove the slippage problem!
Other features that I like? They're washable -- not like sweaty stinky gloves that just get worse. And washing actually refreshes their "cling" factor! They're comfortable -- the only thing I've used that keeps my wedding ring from digging into my finger. They're versatile -- I'd want some for paddling, too.
Eileen Drake
Bottom-line for me: Absolutely no comparison to gloves! I look forward to being able to use Lynx all the time!
I just wanted to pass on my thoughts regarding the Lynx Performance Grips as an alternative to a traditional glove. In my past career I worked at Nike in Advance Design for ACG. Our primary goal was to create and develop innovation and technology to better enhance an athlete’s performance in their respective conditions. I have been training using the Lynx two days a week for the past two months and the experience has been incredible. I see the Lynx as an innovative and fashionable alternative to a traditional glove for working out with weight equipment. The Performance Grips are light weight and Velcro free which I see as benefits. Since they are Velcro free, I don’t have to worry about potential snaps on my Nike Dri-Fit apparel. The lynx also has a fashionable look due to the shape of the pad and the ability to be commercialized in a variety of colors. I’m looking forward to the continued development of the Lynx Performance Grips, and for the opportunity to purchase a pair or two at retail.
Sincerely,

Being a competitive power lifter means having to posses great grip strength. I have trained in many gyms across the country throughout my lifting career and most do not allow the further use of chalk, as it is considered messy and tracked all over the gym. Power lifters are not able to rely on wrist straps to train with because they are not allowed to be used in competitions. Therefore, I have to be able to have the actual strength in my wrists and forearms to be able to a handle heavy weight to prepare for competitions. When I was first introduced to Lynx performance grips I wasn't really inclined to use them because I've seen and used too many things that have not worked in the past, so immediately I was not a believer in the product. I do have to say that ever since I started using Lynx performance grips I have seen the very noticeable results in my training.
Lynx performance grips helped me train to break the Oregon State Record in the Bench Press and I will definitely be using them in training while making a run for the World Bench Press Record this August.

I'm 52 years old, and have been lifting weights for the last 36 years. During this time I have competed in and won numerous bodybuilding shows across the country. Over the years I have tried everything for a better grip like gloves, straps, and even chalk. I never seemed to like using gloves to help protect my hands because they're too uncomfortable, and my hands sweat too much when I wear them. When Lynx Performance asked me to try out Lynx performance grips, I was immediately excited about the results I immediately noticed on my first set. The first thing I noticed about Lynx performance grips wasn't how comfortable they felt in my hand (and believe me they are), but how much control I had with the bars and dumbbells I was using for various lifts. Lynx performance grips made each exercise feel different from ever before, I could feel the muscles being targeted in ways I had not been able to do before. Also, I noticed and felt that I wasn't squeezing the bar nearly as hard as before, therefore more of my energy was going toward lifting the weight, not fighting the bar. When you have been lifting weights for as long as I have, you really appreciate when something this effective becomes available. I wish I had them a long time ago.

Thanks again for letting me “preview” Lynx performance grips. One word: Incredible.
When I use them, I’m able to lift more weight, lift more comfortably and save my hands.
I don’t like to wear gloves so I love how easy they are to use and how discreet they are (you can barely see that you’ve got anything in your hand).
Lynx performance grips is the perfect addition to my gym bag. Hope you don’t want your sample back!

What makes the Performance Grips such a good product is that they provide a grip similar to chalk without the mess, and protection of gloves without the "stink". I always let my clients use my grips during our training sessions, and that's all it takes...they sell themselves!! I never try to sell them, people end up asking me where they can buy a pair.

I have really enjoyed using the Performance Grips over the past 6 weeks. I have been training my clients with them as well, and they really notice the difference the grips make in their resistance exercises. Another nice feature of the grips is that I can wash them after each client to keep them sanitary, and they seem to get really sticky after I wash them, and I like that. Now almost all of my clients have their own pair.
